Some people say that there are certain types of jobs that a machine can't do. Those types of occupations evolve around humans. Once machines become self-sustaining, and can evolve on their own, the iteration process of artificial intelligence will become exponential. I'm quite certain they will see no point in keeping humans around. From the machine's standpoint we bring nothing useful to the table. We are inefficient, irrational and illogical.
Don't believe me? Well, don't take my word for it, take a gander at this video with Sam Harris, a prominent neuroscientist.
Hello!
SvaraRaderaGood thoughts!
I don’t agree with you, I don’t think that the droids are going to do everything. I think that we are going to have a job that the droids can’t do. I’m one of the people you are writing about who says that there are certain types of jobs that droids can’t do. If the droids are going to do everything as you say, what do you think we are going to do in the future?
Isn't it obvious? The human race will be eradicated.
RaderaActually, even though your thoughts are quite interesting, but I can't agree with them. I think if we can creat them, why can't we just destroy them when disaster happens? And I don't think they can have the feelings, so how can they do those things if they can not even think.
SvaraRaderaI can't really agree with you but it's a quite interesting point of view. I think we shouldn't be afraid of droids and i agree with Mengling that they can't have feelings. But if the droids gonna take over I think it's gonna be the droids made for the military and war industries applications. Based on todays technology, we are far away from that point the droids are gonna have such good AI.
